Creating values out of wastestreams from rapeseed oil refining
During his/her studies, Jingbo Li developed several technologies to create values out of wastestreams from rapeseed oil industry. Technologies for high value products like lecithin, oil soluble antioxidants, protein, and sugars production from two biowastes including gum and meal were developed. Jingbo Li also developed green technologies for biodiesel production from another two wastestreams. A technological toolbox has been developed to develop value-added products from the wastestreams. Scale-up is being carried out with Food Oil, DLG now.
The PhD degree was completed at the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Aarhus University.
